Preventive
sessions
All teeth are healthy before they come into the
mouth. It is when we are young
that we learn
habits that are the foundations of a lifetime of
healthy teeth
and gums.
Our fun-packed preventive sessions, usually held
during school holidays,
are for 4 to 8 year-olds
and are designed to encourage children on this
path.
They are also examined by the dentist and
leave with a bag of goodies with a
dental theme.
Those who have grown up in our care and
attended at the intervals
we recommend, rarely
have any tooth decay.

Very young children,
those
under five, are also
encouraged to attend with
their
parents so there is never
a dreaded first visit. Going to
the dentist becomes
a normal
part of life.

All children and young
people are treated at 60%
of the normal
adult scale until they are 18 years
old or
until they finish their full time
education.
Protective coating
As a preventive practice we recommend that all
permanent molar
and premolar
teeth for all
children should
safeguarded with a specialised
protective coating.
We will let you know when
the
time is right for your child. |
